A summary of PCO Responsibilities.
All "PCO APPLICATIONS (APPOINTED)" MUST be submitted to your sub-district leader. Remember your sub-district leaders are your representatives. The sub-district leader is required to meet with you before submitting an application.
The "PCO MONTHLY REPORT" is provided for PCOs to help communicate important items with their sub-district leader. Monthly reports are not required, however, we enjoy hearing what you are doing. Please turn in your PCO report to your sub-district leader and vice chair ([email protected]) if you have something to share at the monthly SCRCC board meetings.
Any PCO who is unable to attend a Central Committee meeting may issue a written proxy notice authorizing another Republican residing within that PCO’s precinct to vote in place of that PCO at that meeting. Such proxy notice shall include the Proxy’s name and residential address and shall be delivered to the Credentials Committee at least 24 hours prior to the meeting. No person may have more than one vote. If a PCO is unable due to unforeseen circumstances to give proxy notification at least 24 hours prior to the meeting, the proxy may be admitted pending Credentials Committee certification and a simple majority of vote of the Central Committee. Please email to your district leader and cc the chair ([email protected]) and vice chair ([email protected]).
PCOs, like to hear from their elected officials. This form helps facilitate a town hall between the PCOs and elected officials.
The "PCO SUB-DISTRICT CAUCUS MEETING PETITION" is a form for district leaders to call a meeting of their Sub-District Caucus when they believe there is an issue that affects their caucus or when requested by 30% or more of the qualified PCOs within the Sub-District. Please email form to the chair ([email protected]) and vice chair ([email protected]).
