Emergency Meetings. The Chair, or a majority of the Executive Board members by petition in writing to the Chair, may call an emergency meeting of the Executive Board upon 24-hour notice to the Executive Board members. Said petition shall state the purpose of the emergency meeting. The call shall be issued in accordance with the Policies and Procedures of the SCRCC. Any voting member of the Executive Board who is unable to attend an Executive Board meeting may issue a written proxy notice authorizing a PCO to represent that member at the Executive Board meeting specified in the notice. The Chair should receive notice of the proxy at least twenty-four (24) hours prior to the meeting and the written proxy notice shall be delivered to the Secretary at the meeting.
