2019 HIGHLIGHTS

  • New Headquarters: Monroe Court Building, 901 N Monroe, #335 (Thanks to Dr. Marcus DeWood.) Reminder: PCOs are invited to come to the conference room on the 3rd floor @6:00 PM, usually on the first Tuesday of each month, to share thoughts and questions with the Executive Board.

  • Successful Lincoln Day Dinner!

    • Brought in approximately 130 NEW attendees

    • Raised the 2nd highest amount of funds

    • Raised highest amount in a non presidential election year!

    • Used a large amount of these funds for a first-ever Get Out the Vote (GOTV) campaign in a nonpartisan election cycle.Thank you for your support. Many thanks to Tianna Abel for chairing our Rapid Response Team (Lincoln Day Committee catching up from a late start), and kudos to all that helped!

  • Website Development: Improving our Nation Builder website is an ongoing process as well as updating our GOP database and continually adding more supporters. Many great tech efforts are continuing as the Tech Committee executes a comprehensive plan.

  • Increased Public Events and Community Participation:

    • Participated in the Hillyard Days Event and Parade for the first time in years and had lots of positive feedback.

    • Held our first (hopefully annual) candidates’ and elected officials’ softball game.  It was a real success!

    • Did several community events. Our booth at the Spokane County Interstate Fair was one of the most visited.

    • Our goal is to do an event in every district this year.  Thanks to all those who volunteered and helped make these events so successful, especially our Summer Events Chair, Monica Wachowiak.

  • New Committees Organized and Functioning Well: You’ll be hearing much more from them this year, specifically from the Communications and Finance Committees. Also, the Nonpartisan Election Committee took a big step forward getting our message out during the 2019 General Election.
