Monday June 19 – Candidates Committee Recommendation Assembly Meeting, Spokane Dream Center, 2128 N. Pines Rd, Spokane Valley, 6:00pm to 9:00pm, Doors Open for Credentialing at 5:30

 All Spokane County GOP PCOs are invited to participate in this Candidates Committee Meeting to review the Vetting Committee results and ranking for the 34 candidates that submitted Candidate Packets and participated in our Candidate Evaluation and Vetting Program.

Doors will open at 5:30pm, ID will be required to be admitted into the meeting, and the meeting will begin promptly at 6:00pm.

The Vetting Committee Chairs will present the candidates from each of the races including City of Spokane Mayor; Spokane, Spokane Valley and Liberty Lake City Councils; Spokane District 81, Central Valley, Mead, Medical Lake, and Riverside School Board Directors, County Fire District Commissioners and the Moran Cemetery District Commissioner races.

Once the candidates are presented, PCOs will have the opportunity to speak in support of or against the candidates per the rules listed below. 

Once all candidates are presented, all PCOs in attendance can vote for their recommended candidate for each race presented during the meeting. 

***Any PCO that has information about a candidate supported with evidence shall send a summary of the issue along with the supporting evidence to the Vetting Chair for that Candidate's race prior to the June 19 meeting***

The Vetting Committee Chair is responsible to verify the claim and evidence and the Vetting Committee shall decide if the information will be included in the record and presented at the Candidates Committee Recommendation Assembly Meeting.
