After the Precinct Committee Officers are elected in the primary election, new Republican Party leadership is elected at an organizational meeting, usually held in the first week of December after the new PCO takes office on December 1st.
The elected officers of the Central Committee consist of a Chair, Vice Chair, State Committeeman, and State Committeewoman. These officers are elected by the entire body of PCOs for a two-year term. The appointed officers consist of a Treasurer, Secretary, and Legal Counsel. Appointed officers are appointed by the Chair with the approval of the Executive Board for one-year terms.
The Executive Board membership consists of the elected Chair, Vice Chair, State Committeeman, State Committeewoman, and District Leaders, plus the appointed Treasurer, Secretary, Legal Counsel, and Standing Committee Chairs. The voting members of the Executive Board are the Chair, Vice Chair, State Committeeman, State Committeewoman, and District Leaders.
